Students will complete the classes and an 80-hour Externship at a local medical practice. The externship begins around Class 12. Students will have the option of selecting a office to extern at or being placed at local medical practice to complete the externship.
The school provides the required textbook at no additional cost to our students.
We use the NHA Medical Assistant CCMA study guide as our textbook.
What Do I Get After Graduation?
Students who graduate from Las Vegas Medical Assistant School receive their Medical Assistant Certificate of Completion from our school.
Additionally, students receive their BLS (CPR) certification in class through the American Heart Association.
After graduating from our program you will take the CCMA exam. Once you pass this exam you will be called a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
The Las Vegas Medical Assistant School is licensed and regulated by Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education.
